Mike Tyson's Company Will Introduce Printed Beverages into the Cannabis Industry

We’ve seen lots of new and innovative ways for people to consume their cannabis, but Mike Tyson’s company is about to take it to another level. Mike Tyson’s marijuana company, The Ranch Companies, is partnering with Smart Cups to start printing cannabis-infused beverages. Now, what does it mean to “print” a beverage? Check out this video from Smart Cups with the explanation.

So just to sum it all up, these cups are made out of some kind of bioplastic and all of the active ingredients and flavors would be printed right onto the bottom of the cups. The flavors are in a capsule-like material that is all plant-based. Not only is this innovative it’s also environmentally friendly.

What this new product also aims to do is to give people their preferred dosage. With cannabis products becoming more potent, it can be pretty easy to take a much higher dosage than you would have wanted.

The other day I had a quarter of a 400Mg THC infused Nerds Rope and thought I was gonna be slightly baked. Well, you can guess what happened next, I was very baked. However, I didn’t mind because I’m used to being baked. But I can see how these weed printed beverages could have prevented me from getting that baked. Not only will Smart Cups innovate the method of precise dosing, but it will also innovate the method of consumption and convenience for people. As you can see from the video, all you will need to do is take your Smart Cup and fill it up with water. That’s pretty freaking cool.

No word yet on when we’ll see these beverages hit the store shelves or if they will be making any THC infused beverages. Hopefully, we will see them in the near future.
